A delicious stop for Fukuoka style ramen, which always hits the spot. It's a basic menu, which allows them to make it delicious. The service is great, which means the long line is also fairly quick. Atmosphere is 5 star if you realize this is not a lounging spot. They don't rush you, but it has a quick turnover.

Love this Ramen place. Although there's usually a wait line, it moves quickly, and the service is friendly and efficient. This doesn't take away from the quality at all — the ramen is absolutely delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The gyozas are also fantastic. Prices are reasonable, and I highly recommend it.

Still the BEST RAMEN I've ever had. I'm from Calgary and tried this on my trip to Van before and I was BLOWN AWAY. Came back to Van and knew I had to hit this place up again. My friend with me on this trip hadn't tried it but was offput with the lineup outside at first but I told her its worth the wait. Line up went by pretty fast since someone comes out to take party sizes and gives a slip so people can start deciding what to order while waiting and you just hand them the slip when you sit down. I think this is the closest to ichiran that I'be had in Canada. My friend has had Ichiran in Japan and still thinks danbo was great! The ramen came out REALLY piping hot! Also, people who want to sit down, relax and socialize this may not be the place for you. This is more of a quick meal Japanese style where you're there to eat and go. Not chat over drinks like an izakaya. The high turn over is what keeps the price down too. I spent less than 20 after tax and tip for a ramen adding egg and nori. FYI, you might be able to get in faster if you're a solo diner. I saw a guy get seated and skip about 4 parties ahead of him being solo lol.

I have heard about this place in Seattle, but never been there. Due to the positive reviews, I couldn't resist trying this place and decided to wait outside for 30 minutes (at 1:45 PM on a Saturday). You get to decide what you want to order while waiting outside and served within minutes of being seated. Worth the wait! Loved the broth. In short, my choice was perfect. My family chose a higher spicy level which kinda deviated the broth taste while i ordered standard. For first timers, the seats have space to hold your jackets/bags. Friendly and courteous staff. It is paid street parking around that place, so plan accordingly. Definitely worth the visit and since i live in WA, i shall visit the seattle more often as that one too has very good reviews.

Worth the line-up! Been here a couple times & food/service were consistent. It can get quite loud inside depending on the crowd, service does feel a bit rushed, but people who just want good ramen GO HERE! One of the best vegan ramen I have ever had

Food wise, the ramen is incredible. Service wise, friendly and quick. However we did feel rushed here. We had to create our order before even sitting at a table. They bring the food out before you know it, and you’re paying as soon as you finish. Understandable, but not the best place if you’re looking to sit, relax and take your time while slurping your ramen.

The perfect bowl of ramen. The broth, the noodles, the chashu—*chef’s kiss* I’m always debating whether to get a second bowl halfway through because it’s just that good. On top of that, the staff is always really attentive and kind. Easily one of my favorite spots!
